JORGE
At the age of 24, I attended a church in Kansas, and as soon as I walked through the door, I knew I was not right with God. I thought I was saved because I was told I “prayed” when I was 4. But I was given a discipleship booklet, “Growing in Grace,” by my brother, who was a member there. I went home to Florida and read it, the first lesson talked about salvation, and the second lesson was about assurance of salvation. It was then that the Holy Spirit of God convicted me. Almost as if I could hear an audible voice saying, “You are not saved because you have never asked me.” I understood that I was a sinner condemned to hell and my only way to God was through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. By placing my faith alone in Christ, I asked him at that moment to save me.
ALEJANDRA
I grew up as a bus kid in Iglesia Bautista Biblica El Faro, in Waverly, FL. At the age of 13, I prayed a salvation prayer. As I got older, I began to have doubts about that prayer being sincere. At the age of 19, while I was at Providence Baptist College, after months of doubting, I was shocked to find my teacher stopped the class to give an invitation out of the blue. I was so convicted that after class, I approached my boyfriend (my now husband) and told him of my doubts, he led me in prayer, and I received reassurance of my salvation.
SARAH
Sarah is three years old, knows no strangers, enjoys the outdoors, and loves to memorize Bible verses.
KAYLA
Kayla is one year old and captures people's hearts with a friendly smile.
